Symptoms of cystitis

 Cystitis is a common urinary tract infection, which occupies about 50%-70%. Caused by bacteria infection. Most of pathogenic bacteria is escherichia coli. It is mostly shown in women. Because women’s urine tract is shorter than men’s and closer to anus, so escherichia coli is easier to enter into our body. The most typical symptoms of cystitis is frequency, urgency,urine pain even urge incontinence and blood urine and pyuria.

Clinical manifestations of cystitis

Acute cystitis

Offset disease suddenly,burning pain when urination,urine frequency and usually urine urgency.  urge incontinence when illness condition is serious. Urine frequency and urine urgency usually is obvious, above5-6 times/ hour. Urine volume is not much,just a little drops, stomach pain at the end of urination. Urine color is dirty, blood urine appears sometimes, it turns to be more obvious at the end of urination.

Slight press pain in the upper bladder area, parts of patients have slight back pain. When inflammation lesion appears in bladder mucosae, no heat and no increasing of white cells in the blood, systemic symptoms is slight. Parts of patients feel fatigue. Women have cystitis after wedding called as honeymoon cystitis. Disease course of honeymoon cystitis is short, if treated in time, symptoms would disappears within one week.

Chronic cystitis

Frequency, urgency and urine pain exists in a long term and repeat, but not serious as acute cystitis. Little or middle volume of pyocyte, red cells. If cystitis treated in time, symptoms would disappear in a short time. Patients must pay high attention to  it, and insist on treating. Confirming cystitis has been cured and then stop medicine. Not let it downs to chronic disease.

Complications of cystitis

1, Causing to bladder fibrosis so that it reduces the volume of bladder and then causing to vesicoureteral reflus. Kidney swelling, kidney inflammation even to kidney necrosis and uremia, imperil in life.

2, blood urine appears, increasing the rate of bladder cancer. You should be alarm when you can see blood urine. This is an unique sign of urination disorder, there is about 85% bladder cancer is caused by bladder infection.

3, An important symbol of bladder causing to nephrotuberculosis is that you have tuberculosis history and still have symptoms like urinary tract irritation and urinary sediment.

4, can complicated Progressive narrow of the ureters,backflow and hydronephrosis.
